First the positive and more directly Mraz-related news. Philly from Team Mraz confirmed on RKOP
that the leaked tracklist
from a couple of weeks ago IS NOT in fact accurate. She didn't elaborate at all, but for those who were less than thrilled about that selection of songs there's still hope for your favorites.
In other news, J's recent appearance on Nick Jr's Fresh Beat Band is now online thanks to RKOP's always on the ball uploader Eric. You can watch all the Mraz bits from the episode (condensed to save you from having to sit through a 45 minute kid's show) on Eric's Facebook page
Now on to the less than great news, at least from a personal standpoint. As all of you are probably aware, I maintain an online Mraz MP3 & Video collection
in order to share with old and new fans alike. Unfortunately, it turns out that Mediafire now limits the length of time files are stored on their server (when I signed up for Mediafire back in the day, this wasn't the case). As a result, and unbeknownst to me until recently, many of the files in my Mediafire folder have expired and are no longer available. Some may stil be there but there's no way for me to tell what remains and what's gone.
As a result I'm in the market for a new hosting solution, ideally with a similar interface and layout to make it as easy as possible for both uploading and downloading of individual files. The main appeal with Mediafire was that I could upload thing and forget about them and people could head over there whenever they wanted and grab just one song or a bunch. I've looked around and I can already tell I'm going to miss having Mediafire as a long-term option. I welcome any and all suggestions of options I should explore.
In the meantime, if you find there's a song or video on Medifire that you want and it's not available anymore shoot me a message or a comment and I'll do what I can to get it uploaded for you (though it may take me a little while to get to it). I have to say, I'm pretty bummed about this. Those files took quite a while to upload and organize and the thought of trying to do it all over again is less than appealing.
